Lemoshi is designed to minimize data collection while keeping anonymous conversations safe. Information needed for accounts, moderation, abuse prevention, and user-submitted reports may be retained.
Ordinary random-match conversations are not saved as durable chat logs. The server temporarily keeps only the latest 40 accepted messages while a match can still be reported. If a user submits a safety report, those messages are attached to that report so authorized moderators can review the context.
Account friend messages are different: the server retains the latest 500 messages per friend pair for up to 14 days so conversations can sync across devices and reach an offline friend. Authorized administrators may review this retained friend history for service operation and safety; transcript access is recorded in the administrative audit log.
Random matching does not require sharing a real-world identity. The service uses account or device identifiers and limited network information where necessary for continuity, abuse prevention, and moderation.
Lemoshi may process network information, including IP-derived approximate location and internet-provider details, for account security, moderation, and abuse prevention. This information is restricted to authorized administrators, retained only as needed, and does not identify a precise physical address.
We do not use any tracking technologies, cookies, or analytics tools that would identify or collect personal information about our users.
Our service is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
